D. M. Terblanche (1998) is a self-taught multidisciplinary artist, born in Pretoria, South Africa. They specialise in narrative documentary and portrait photography, often drawing from literary, sociological, and metaphysical influences.
D. M. Terblanche is the winner of Emergentes 2023 - International Photography Award Encontros da
Imagem. They are a member of Through the Lens Collective, a PhMuseum Masterclass alum, and have
been published in print and online. They were selected as one of GUP Magazine’s FRESH EYES 2024
talents, as well as THEN THERE WAS US ones to watch of 2023.
